Close Trump aides and campaign officials all testify Trump’s claims of widespread election fraud are baseless, unfounded

For those in Mesa County who still believe Trump’s big lie that he lost the 2020 election due to widespread election fraud, this 4 minute video presents testimony by close Trump aides, including top Trump campaign lawyer Alexander Cannon, who previously worked as Assistant General Counsel for the Trump Organization; Matt Morgan, former Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Counsel to the Vice President of the United States, former U.S. Attorney General William Barr, and Trump’s daughter and Senior White House Advisor Ivanka Trump.

Alex Cannon’s job was specifically to look for election fraud. He testified he told Trump’s Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, that despite his best efforts, there were “no findings sufficient to change any results [of the elections] in key states.” Matt Morgan said all of Trump fraud allegations, taken together and viewed in the best possible light for President Trump, still would not change the election outcome. AG Barr testified that Trump’s allegations about Dominion voting machines were “baseless,” but they “had been presented in such a sensational way that it resonated with the public” and “was doing the country a great disservice.”

Ivanka Trump says she agreed with the U.S. Department of Justice’s assessment that all available evidence did not support her fathers’ claims of election fraud.

Presented by the January 6 Select Committee investigating the attack on the the U.S. Capitol at their first hearing on June 9. Video is 3 minutes, 55 seconds in length.
