Rep. Lauren Boebert calls women “the lesser vessel,” says women need masculinity to balance their weakness & frailty

In an interview with conservative comedian Brad Stine October 17, Republican Colorado CD-3 House Rep. Lauren Boebert called women “the lesser vessel” compared to men and said women need masculinity to balance their weakness and frailty.

Boebert is supporter of the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and an election denier who believes there was fraud in the 2020 election.

This clip of her comment about the weakness of women was posted on the Twitter account of Patriot Takes on October 22, 2022.

Boebert is running against Adam Frisch.

    • That’s crossed my mind as well because she’s been pushing the envelope. The (political) entertainment industry pays better and is more fun than being a working elected official, as Sarah Palin learned. A loss would also give her the opportunity to challenge an election – something that’s become a GOP competitive sport.

  1. While marijuana is legal is CO, I do not believe that even the most potent sativa would put a normal person into the capable state of mind to understand Boebert. (is she one of those calling for the legalization of psilocybin??)

re her bizarre suggestion that “women are the lesser vessel”- and therefore need masculine traits or behavior- why is she condemning the divine design of our Lord / Creator? If she is a true Christian who FULLY UNDERSTANDS the Bible & Christian doctrine, she would have never professed such heresy.

A simple search of the term ‘lesser (or weaker) vessel’ leads us to 1 Peter 3:7. Sorry, no ‘2 Corinthians’ to bail you out, BoBo.

“Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered…”

Apostle Peter was giving guidance to the MEN to respect their wives. This has nothing to do with Boebert’s confused grasp of – anything, really- of women being frail or weak or incapable of physical labor. ‘Given’ the opportunity (in a world of historically patriarchal control), women have fully demonstrated their capacity to function & perform on par with their male counterparts.

Not all women, of course, just as not all men- are capable as the next (trump being a perfect example of failing to match the accomplishments & competencies of his predecessor).

But what is Boebert really driving at with her skewed view of women? Is she a proponent of performance-enhancing drugs for women? Does she ache to have giant muscles & a ‘studly’ body so that she doesn’t feel compelled to tote that pathetic ‘male appendage’ on the side of her body?

Is she attempting to admit that she is inferior to others? How does she judge (or assess) anyone? By their physical prowess? Is a loving, caring, physically-modest male less of a person in God’s view than a ~beefy, narcissistic, abusive ‘man’?

Is she now courting those who view themselves ~incomplete because of their physical nature or predisposition? If women, by her comments, consider themselves needing to be more masculine, wouldn’t Rx drugs which enhance that change be the culmination of her ‘religious’ views?

And conversely, where men also feel an imbalance, the logical step for them is to embrace their feminine side. Did her penis-flasher husband share some intimate thoughts with her? Or maybe, just maybe, she wants to be the D..K in the house / House.

  2. The Shiffer Corporation was so impressed with her recently that they appointed her their company spokeswoman stating that,
“she has the brains for it”…

  3. The sad thing is that many conservative women will still vote for her. She is an embarrassment to the state of Colorado.

  4. Her head is the lesser vessels, and by masculinity does she mean exposing ones tattooed genitals at a bowling alley? I truly cannot fathom the voter who thinks she “represents” them.

  5. Rep. Boebert channels the First Testament, to wit:
“Whence, in the first part, the Hematites did praise The Lord God, in so doing flencing the darker parts on the first Sabbath, the Lord God did shower upon these Hematites crupescents of myrrh and the fluff of the plane tree thrice urdiditid. And it was good. Thereupon, He spake, placing Adam’s rib beast in the darkest, deepest part of His Heavenly realm, and we praise almighty God a sheepshead-fold. Hosannah.

    And THAT’S in the Bible.*

*Look it up, if you don’t believe it.

    • The First Testament, aka the Old Testament, is the first division of the Christian biblical canon, which is based primarily upon the 24 books of the Hebrew Bible or Tanakh.

So, are you suggesting that she is now a Jew? She was decades late in getting her GED; did she suddenly discover that her father is Jewish & she just recently enjoyed her Bat Mitzvah? Learning the Hebrew language is on easy feat, for certain. No wonder she has been MIA from her secular job as a member of congress. Mazel tov!

  6. She would qualify as the LEAST of ANY vessel and an embarrassment to all genders.
As she evangelizes does anyone ever ask about GOP cutting SS and Medicare..?
No just Jesus ranting and strutting like a pole dancer!
She has some real theatrics that one!
