  1. Here’s info from MCPLD newsletter on ways to help the library now that federal funding is in jeopardy.

    “We need your help!
As a community, we need to figure out how to move forward without Federal Funding. The future of Federal funding is unknown at this time.

    What can you do?
Email legislators to detail your library story, share what’s important to you, talk about what you want for your community and those that need to complete education goals to build a better future.
Donate to the Library Foundation You can direct your donation(s) to the Adult Learning Center specifically, if you desire.
Give us ideas on who to have conversations with, other funding considerations or other creative strategies at director@mcpld.org We will need a new funding model in the future that is not dependent on federal funding.”
