If you been wondering why Elon Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) was so hell-bent on copying the databases of the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department and other agencies that possess vast amounts of personal and confidential data on virtually everyone in the country, like names, addresses, social security numbers, bank account info, medical information, driving records, etc., a secretive tech company named Palantir is why.

Palantir is a little-known American software company that’s currently worth more than Disney or Verizon. It builds data analytics platforms that integrate huge amounts of data.
Palantir’s products are helping the government combine the data taken from these agencies and compile it into a huge database the Trump administration can use to surveil American citizens. Palantir is helping Trump’s government build a huge AI surveillance database that covers everyone in the United States.
Some consider Palantir America’s most dangerous corporation.
Data includes information taken from Flock automatic license plate reading cameras that are now stationed in jurisdictions across the U.S. While the exact number of these cameras in use at any one time across the country is uncertain, there are at least 100,000 of these cameras in use all across the U.S. in 2025, or one Flock camera for every 4,000 U.S. citizens.
Watch the video to find out more about Palantir and how it is helping Trump — who is clearly motivated by vengeance — build an authoritarian state that will deliver him the technology to pursue and harass individual citizens who disagree with him.

I knew this was what they were up to. Not a big surprise.
I am a fan of endurance sportscar racing. I am also a fan of driver Sebastian Bourdais, who is in the Team Jota Sport/Hertz #38 Cadillac LMDh car in the FIA WEC series. This past season, the car sported corporate sponsor logos on the rear wing endplates including Cadillac, BRADY, and Palantir. You know Cadillac. BRADY refers to former NFL Quarterback Tom Brady, a major funding source for the team. And then there’s Palantir. I believe they supply data collection services for the team. It makes it difficult to be a fan.
Also worth mentioning that Palantir is headquartered in Denver, and its CEO, Alex Karp, has recently purchased a former monastery and 3,700 acres near Snowmass for $120 Million. It is the largest amount paid for a land sale in the history of Pitkin County.

Science fiction has been warning us about this for decades. I never considered that some might take those warnings as suggestions.
