Tina Peters’ supporters are ramping up their violent rhetoric towards public officials in their ongoing efforts to get her freed from prison.
Kyle Clark of 9News in Denver reports that Joe Oltmann, a MAGA podcaster from Castle Rock, hosted Peter Ticktin, Tina’s attorney, on his December 4 show, during which Ticktin threatened the judges and elected officials who enforced the law against Tina, saying a “hanging party is coming.” Oltmann said judges are “sociopathic” for making rulings adverse to Trump, and Ticktin follows up by threatening judges, saying they “have no feelings of empathy,” are “misguided” and “part of the cabal.” Ticktin continues, “But when you get those handcuffs on you, Judge, and you’re alone, you’re not going to be thinking the way you’re thinking. You’re going to be thinking ‘I should have fixed it, I should have done the right thing.”
Clark also reports that Peters’ attorney recently endorsed the idea of Trump sending the military to free her from the La Vista Correctional facility in Pueblo where she is currently serving her nine-year sentence.
