In the toughest and most divisive time our country has ever faced and with democracy on the chopping block, we need to send representatives to Washington who truly care about average people, have a clear moral compass and a decisive view of right and wrong, and Alex Kelloff is that guy.
Kelloff is a Democratic candidate for CD-3 House Representative who seeks to unseat Jeff Hurd as Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District Representative in Congress, and for all the people in CD-3 who have grown frustrated and disillusioned with Rep. Hurd’s namby-pamby social media posts, bland statements and the pointless, canned responses he sends constituents who try to get him to understand how utterly freaked out they are about the cruelty, chaos, incompetence and total insanity of the Trump administration, Alex Kelloff is a breath of fresh air.
Recently Kelloff has been posting frankly about his stands on the most worrisome and frightening issues facing CD-3 and the country, and without mincing words he gives people a clear idea of how he would represent our district in Washington. It’s emerged in the last 6 months that Kelloff has more conviction and a lot stronger backbone than Hurd, and that he would stand up far more forcefully for the Constitution and our rights, and not ignore it when federal officials are obviously grifting, violating laws and court orders left and right and undermining our rights.
Take a look at some of Kelloff’s recent posts:
Today’s tragic killing of a nurse in Minneapolis was entirely avoidable and demands a full, independent investigation with local authorities involved. Federal immigration authorities should immediately leave Minnesota to allow state and local officials to bring peace.
We should…

Since when is lawful concealed carry a violation of the law?
If someone has gone through the legal process and obtained a concealed carry permit, they are exercising a constitutional right. The Trump administration and ICE are now suggesting that lawful concealed carry is no…

For nearly 50 years, Roe v. Wade affirmed that personal health decisions belong to individuals and families, not politicians or the government. Its overturning in 2022 stripped away that freedom and put people at risk, especially for women in rural communities and low-income…

Last week I attended an event with a respected former government official who spent 30+ years working on public lands here in Colorado, and you know what stuck out? They had never even heard of Jeff Hurd’s Productive Public Lands Act (PPLA). That says a lot.
Most Coloradans care…

And Kelloff has a remarkably good chance of unseating Hurd.
Voters are clearly souring on Jeff Hurd. More voters in the district now say they have an unfavorable view of him than a favorable view. Only 27% of voters think Hurd is doing an excellent or even a good job as congressman, and half of all voters in the district now have a negative view of Trump. Kelloff is less well known than Hurd right now, but the more people hear about him, and the more we talk about him, the closer the race gets.
If ever there was a time when a sitting Republican congressman could be unseated in CD-3, this is likely the year it can happen. So far Kelloff has not had a Democratic challenger, so he’s been able to amass some money for a strong campaign later in election season.
So if you’re disillusioned with Jeff Hurd and exhausted by the horrific, incompetent and amoral Republican rule that Hurd has been silently tolerating without little if any pushback, consider supporting Alex Kelloff, a decisive candidate with far more spine and a stronger moral compass, for CD-3 House Representative in the primary election in June, and in the mid-term election this November.
