If you missed the gathering today at House Rep. Jeff Hurd’s office in Grand Junction to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) killing people with impunity, there will be another opportunity held tomorrow.
Community members and advocates will gather on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 12:00–2:00 PM at the Old Courthouse, 544 Rood Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado, for an ICE Out for Good rally to mourn lives lost, demand accountability, and call for an end to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) raids.

This action is organized in response to the killing of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old wife and mother of three who loved to sing and studied creative writing. Organizers state that Ms. Good was shot in the face by an ICE agent. The community will gather to grieve her death and the deaths of all those who have died in ICE detention.
“Renee Nicole Good was a mother, a partner, an artist, and a human being whose life mattered,” national organizers said. “Her killing is not an isolated incident — it is the devastating and predictable result of ICE’s lawless operations and the abuse of power by the Trump administration. ”
The goals of the ICE Out for Good rally include:
●Demanding accountability for the killing of Renee Nicole Good and for deaths that occur in ICE detention.
●Calling for an immediate end to ICE and CBP raids that terrorize families and destabilize communities.
●Standing in solidarity with neighbors impacted by immigration enforcement and state violence.
●Affirming a commitment to nonviolence, lawful protest, and community care in the face of injustice.
While this action was organized in response to Renee Nicole Good, Indivisible GJ would also like to acknowledge some of the other people killed by ICE this year: Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez, Carlos Jimenez, Marie Ange Blaise, Johnny Noviello, Chaofeng Ge
