The United States Mint is preparing to strike $1.00 coins with convicted felon/sexual abuser/President Donald J. Trump’s likeness on them for the country’s 250th anniversary.
The U.S. Treasury is also moving forward with plans to produce a 24 karat gold commemorative coin with Trump on them for the country’s semiquincentennial on July 4, 2026):

The designs were approved by the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, whose members were all appointed by Trump in January of 2026.
The coins will be produced even though U.S. law prohibits depicting living persons on U.S. currency to keep from giving the impression that the country is a monarchy.
31 U.S.C. § 5114 stipulates that only deceased individuals may appear on U.S. currency and securities. In reference to a $1.00 coin, the law states,
“No coin issued under this subsection may bear the image of a living former or current President, or of any deceased former President during the 2-year period following the date of the death of that President.”
The Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent has the authority to approve the minting of certain commemorative coins, and has done so in this case.
To protest the minting of coins with Trump on them, call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. This is the main number and it will connect you to an operator who can transfer you to the office of any U.S. Senator or House Representative.

Trump’s behavior is the perfect clinical example of narcissism! Unfortunately, when he and his sycophants are gone, there will be an unimaginable amount of clean up to do. I hope that we can recoup by seizing assets.
So, even if Trump dies now, it will be two years before his ugly face appears on coins.
