Convicted felon/adjudicated sexual abuser/President Donald Trump has adopted governing strategies similar to those of communist and authoritarian leaders. This includes fostering high levels of corruption to enrich himself, his family, and wealthy allies; circumventing Congress by implementing preferred policies through executive orders and violating constitutional rights, such as due process and protection against unreasonable searches and seizures. Additionally, he has weaponized federal government agencies against his critics, ignored adverse court rulings and pursued costly vanity projects at breakneck speed for personal aggrandizement.
However, unlike leaders in established communist regimes, he has pursued these actions without advancing social policies aimed at improving public welfare, such as state-funded universal healthcare, childcare, higher education, guaranteed employment, or subsidies for housing and food.
