Restore the Balance endorses No Kings Day, tells people to “take to the streets” to object to lawless authoritarian Trump regime

Message sent out June 11 by Restore the Balance urging people to participate in No Kings Day and “take to the streets” to protest the Trump’s lawlessness and growing number of alarming Constitutional violations.

Restore the Balance (RTB), a western slope nonprofit made up of Democrats and Republicans that is dedicated to eliminating extremism in politics, has endorsed No Kings Day in Grand Junction this coming Saturday, June 14, and is urging citizens to take to the streets to voice objections to Trump lawless actions,  defend the Constitution and protect our rights as Americans.

The latest lawless action: In an appalling act, California Sen. Alex Padilla was forcibly removed from a news conference, pushed to the floor and handcuffed this morning as Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was speaking on recent immigration enforcement operations in Sen. Padilla’s hometown of Los Angeles.⁠ Sen. Padilla attended the news conference as part of his government oversight responsibilities and was attempting to ask Sec. Noem a question.
