Convicted felon/sexual abuser/President Trump today (11/20/25) accused six Democratic members of Congress of “seditious behavior at the highest level,” said they should be arrested and put on trial, and suggested that they should be executed because their behavior was “punishable by death.”

Trump posted the comments on Truth Social, his social media site, in response to a video U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan posted on her X/Twitter account on 11/17 that featured six members of Congress, many of whom are veterans and including Colorado Rep. Jason Crow, speaking directly to members of the military and telling them that not only do they not have to obey illegal orders, but they have a duty to refuse to follow illegal orders.
Below is what Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin posted on her X account on November 17 that caused Trump to threaten the members of Congress with death:
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.
The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

House Speaker Mike Johnson actually defended Trump’s comments.
Slotkin responded to Trump on 11/20, saying,
“… [W]e have the president of the United States calling for a group of service and veteran lawmakers to be arrested, tried and then hung… because we made a video he didn’t like. And separate from any one of us who made the video, for me this is about who we are as a country, and whether we’re going to accept that this is the new normal for how we treat people we disagree with.”

Let’s see where Rep. Hurd, who swore allegiance to the Constitution, comes out on this one. Will it be “is my duty to uphold the Constitution?” Or will he hew to the knee jerk “I follow my Fuhrer” approach of Rep. Mike Johnson?
C’mon, Rep. Hurd, honor your oath of office.
