Trump’s FCC Chair Brendan Carr has started restricting late show interviews

In a clear indication that fascism has taken over the U.S. federal government, convicted felon/President Trump’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr issued an order restricting the political figures that late night TV talk show hosts can have on as  guests. Stephen Colbert explained on his show last night (February 16) what has been going on at CBS behind the scenes to limit what viewers can see on broadcast TV, and tells about the FCC’s attempt to silence him.

CBS already capitulated to Trump by ordering Colbert’s program pulled from CBS this May, so Colbert has nothing to lose.

Below is the full interview with House Rep. James Talarico of Texas, who is a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, that the FCC blocked CBS from airing on Colbert’s show. (The interview is 15 minutes long and you need to watch it).

The FCC also opened an investigation into the TV talk show The View after Talarico appeared on that show.

Talarico is a Presbyterian seminarian and former public school teacher who is opposed to Christian Nationalism. Talarico believes Trump is having his FCC chair attack Talarico repeatedly because Trump is afraid Texas will flip blue in the mid-terms.

Talarico is running in the primary against Democratic U.S. House Rep. from Texas Jasmine Crockett :

Terrific statement by Representative James Talarico on the separation of Church and State during the interview with Colbert on Youtube.
