A news release from today, 8/10/26, by the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, “Arrest made for child exploitation charges,” reveals that Republican House Rep. Lauren Boebert’s 21-year old son Tyler was arrested on August 9, 2026 on multiple charges including sexual exploitation of a child. Tyler Boebert now has criminal cases pending in Weld County and Garfield County, Colorado.
Tyler Boebert’s bond was set at $10,000 and he was bonded out of the Garfield County Jail the same day.
Boebert faces five felony charges, according to the Denver Post.

- Sexual exploitation of a child, video (C.R.S. 18-6-403(3)(b.5), (5)(b)(II)), a Class 4 felony
- Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (C.R.S. 18-6-701(1)(a)), a Class 4 felony
- Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (C.R.S. 18-6-701(1)(a)), a Class 4 felony”
