    • KREX announced last night that you can watch it via their website. There is a link at the top left on the main page of their site that takes you to the court livestream. I’m hoping we can also just get on the Mesa County Court Livestream and watch it like we do any other criminal case. Enjoy!

  1. Peters declined to testify.

Monday will be closing arguments and jury instructions.
I wonder if the defense will be able to go into what motivated Peters. I don’t think the prosecution can object to the defense’s closing, but don’t really know.
And I wonder if the jury will take into consideration how
obnoxious Shapiro has been. He’s kept, with the judge’s help, an awful lot of
information away from them. If I were on the jury, I’d be skeptical.

    • The information that has been kept from them is irrelevant to the case. The defense has been trying to relitigate the 2020 election through the whole trial, apparently in the attempt to justify her actions. Her actions are what are on trial, not her belief in a conspiracy that has failed every chance to be proven.

  2. So the prosecution rested and the defense is up to bat. The defense asked for a judgement for aquittal which the judge refused. I’ve learned that these kind of moves are standard because they set up for an appeal of the trial if necessary.

Sherronna Bishop was the first defense witness. She said a lot of stuff that was objected to…but the jury heard it…which I think is the point.

Right at the end, Shapiro complained that the defense attorney kept disobeying the pre-trail orders and wants the judge to be more vigilante.

    We shall see.

I guess Sherronna will be cross examined first thing tomorrow.

  3. Ricky Schroder has made many B movies but “A Christmas Story” doesn’t happen to be one of them.

Tina Peters has managed to play the lawfare game well so far, which means she’s had skillful lawyers (so many of them!) and they don’t come cheap, so she’s got backing.

The trial is interesting and there are several sources which are covering it without too much bias. I haven’t seen the prosecution witnesses who took plea deals, yet. I suppose the prosecution will save them for last.

Yesterday there was a lot of emphasis on whether the cameras were turned off properly or improperly.

The judge won’t allow any talk about election interference which I suppose goes to intent. From what I have learned, Peter’s thought she was doing “her job”. But the whole thing about getting someone to impersonate another is very sketchy. She obviously thought she was going to be a hero. She also convinced a fair number of people to go along.

And then…to publicize her findings about Dominion’s machines was really sketchy and didn’t benefit her allegations of manipulation, much.

Somehow through all of this, Lindell is still in the pillow business. What a sh*t show American politics is!…and very interesting.

    • This play-by-play is both laughable and downright delusional. Moreover, nobody dare said Christmas Story was a B-list movie; but yet again you are just inventing the narrative. As to even consider Ricky a D-list actor would be generous, at least by IMDB standards. However I did def imply maybe the movie could be seen as an interesting allegory as to how DJT is going to ruin his own election chances by fighting invisible enemies, blinding himself in the process, among delusionally believing to be the protector. But its not surprising these complex ideas all went far far over your head.

Sp let’s not pretend you’re “learning” anything, esp by simping for Tina Peters in suggesting shot or her sycophant team are navigating this case skillfully let alone their defense is anything more than Sisyphean effort to slow the inevitable (and un-pardonable) prison sentence that awaits. Though perhaps on that figurative note of Greek Mythology, and to actually teach you something. Maybe Tina Peters is just playing the part of Arke. Because in her desperation and foolish fascination with vanity followed that Titan to try and overthrow Olympus; and for this betrayal will be soon be banished to the underworld then forgotten along with the rest of the fallen heroes. Though it probably worth noting, in Tina’s case, she is literally going to be chained up and put behind bars…which seems to be where so many of Trump’s acolytes end up, himself likely included. But I digress..

  4. Ricky Shroeder? The washed-up actor from a Christmas Story? What a real star-studded affair. But its sure been com silent from GOP leaders at both the state and national level; instead of holding her up as a patriot and election integrity warrior. As everyone can already see this is going to end badly for Tina, so the party desperately trying to ignore this trial so as to keep any association to Trump or his campaign (that likely was involved in this whole charade behind-the-scenes of course) completely deniable. Doesn’t matter though, he’s still going to shoot his own eye out in the end, lie about it, and cry….just like poor ol’ Ralphie did.

  5. It is so sickening that the ignorant and deplorable bottom feeders like Ricki Schroeder have shown up to pray for the wretched woman child, sociopath, narcissist and pathological liar Peters. Still claiming election fraud from 2020(not one ounce of proof ever) makes one want to vomit. I hope and pray she gets convicted on every freaking charge and gets the maximum sentences to live the rest of her miserable life in prison. Then the pillow guy can send her some pillows.
