Upset about a problematic microphone at his Friday, Nov. 1 rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Trump went on an extended rant about microphones that included his miming of giving oral sex to another male while standing behind a podium that bore a sign saying “Trump will fix it.” [The BJ part starts at 3:00 into the 4:05 video]
If you don’t have time for all the context and want to skip right to the BJ part, here it is:
Anyone considering voting for Trump, please weigh his clearly deteriorating mental health as a factor before you vote. After all, if he melts down like this over a little problem like a faulty microphone, what would happen if he faced a serious disaster affecting the American people while in office?
Oh, wait.
We’ve already seen that.
Trump’s wholly inept response to the Coronavirus pandemic contributed to the deaths of over 1.1 million Americans:
Update: CNN and MSNBC doubled their viewer numbers this week because of Trump supporters tuning in to watch them melt down.
Democracy!
At least you can be be comforted by the fact that Lauren Boebert won her new house seat.
It’s gonna be a great year!
I doubt you could cite anything that Trump has done that is authoritarian, but it sure sounds like a good reason to hate him.
You are correct that despite all of his obvious flaws, he serves as a symbol for many that the corruption in this country will begin to be “blown up”. It will take years to accomplish this but we are only looking for a first step and there are many young people who are looking for the same thing.
It’s funny that you on the left have suddenly become so devoted to “the establishment”, when years ago you were against it.
We who support Trump have seen the swamp, in the form of the intelligence agencies, media and entrenched bureaucracy take over by sheer force. They call anyone who questions them domestic terrorists…that’s authoritarianism.
The things I mention need to be exposed and broken up for the good of our country. I don’t think Trump is the solution to anything but he may serve as a tipping point to get us on a much better track.
Trump is the result of both parties ignoring the real needs of the people. The way that we are divided as people, much of it is political and weaponized by this political fool, but the majority of it is Capitalism. Capitalism with the exclusive goal of “How do I generate the most income out of engagement?” And it turns out fear, anger, hate and outrage pay huge. That is why we know every time Trump makes an ignorant remark or obscene gesture. Appeals to the reptilian brains and sells, sells, sells. The rich are prospering and cutting an ever bigger piece through the dismantling of all protections and selling their propaganda through this idiot demagogue. We have to change the system, it is not democratic by any means. There may be hard lessons ahead as history has shown, burning it to the ground is already underway with our climate crisis and Trump will fast forward that track.
“Trump is the result of both parties ignoring the real needs of the people.”
The reason I voted for Trump is because I despise Hilary Clinton.
I didn’t know anything about him and I lived in a blue state so my vote didn’t even count.
I can’t agree with your critique of capitalism, but I do agree that our problems are systemic. Mostly we need good and honest people and we need the laws to be applied equally no matter who is in charge.
How we accomplish this is uncertian.
Show me a post on here where you ever agreed with anyone, and I’ll eat my hat. Otherwise piss off with this endless contrarian BS, as nobody buys it nor believe you have a clue what are even talking about.
I know it would be useless to ask you what I have distorted, distracted from and explained away…
so I won’t.
Are you still talking? And whom to exactly? Yourself? Slow down, Don Quixote…we can’t keep track of which windmills are tilting to.
Good lord, if there is ever an example where its clear that you’ve earned a banning here…its the simple fact that half the post here are your insane ramblings. And since it’s Election Day, maybe you outta also be shown the same courtesy that Trump will be when the polls close later tonight. #BANISHTHISTROLL
He’s so creepy. It’s mind blowing that half of US voters will vote for a sexual predator; a rapist; a misogynist; a racist: a fascist; a liar; a grifter. One could spend days writing about his character or lack thereof.
Your statement about Trump’s handling of COVID is unfounded and the link you posted doesn’t say what you say it says.
You say nothing about the vaccines he ramped up that you and your cohort seemed to love and seem to have wanted everyone to be forced to take even though they didn’t work as advertised. You say nothing about all the emergency hospital beds that were provided in NYC. You just blithely throw out that he mishandled the crisis.
It’s true that Trump didn’t agree with the lockdowns but unfortunately went along with them. Many believe that they caused way more harm than good to children , businesses and the economy, in general.
I understand why you have completely ignored the fact that the president you were in love with last summer was ousted in a coup by the democrat party when they finally had to admit what everyone with eyes had seen since before he took office and before he left Afghanistan in a wholly humiliating, costly and deadly evacuation.
And you expect voters to forget all that and get riled up because Trump is doing his usual riff about a faulty microphone and which only you and your fellow travelers see as miming a blow job.
Desperation…
There’s nothing you won’t distort, distract from, or explain away, if it comes to Trump, is there?
Maybe we can start a GoFundMe and buy you a spine.
I know it would be useless to ask you what I have distorted, distracted from and explained away…
so I won’t.
Wow, cut-and-paste subservience to your Cheeto Messiah.
He’ll be disappointed in the lack of effort.
And while I’m at it, let me ask which is worse…Trump being stupid on stage or Biden allowing ten million (no one really knows) unidentified, unvetted and illegal migrants into our country? The border was well run when they took office but now Biden and Harris hide behind some BS story that it is Trump who got in the way of the “bipartisan” bill, so they are powerless to do anything.
US taxpayers will pay dearly for this catastrophe in food, housing, schools and crime.
That is what voters are weighing. It’s unfathomable to me that this race is close, considering the behavior of the democrats.
The only possible reason I can think of is that your party and your media has all of you hypnotized.
We all know who Trump is, but you don’t seem to know who or what the hell you’re voting for. And if you actually do, shame on you.
I think we’ve come to the point where its clear hardhatterharry has no shame nor lives in the reality the rest of us inhabit. Just imagine if folks could post here without getting trolled and browbeaten by his pedantically unhinged rhetoric…
So on this Election Day I propose banning this clown from here forever and let him live henceforth inside that faux news echo chamber/cocoon.
Claims of “desperation” from a resident numbskull who literally and compulsively replies to every post with self-important nonsense, sometimes even you own? That’s rich…and downright delusional
#BANISHTHISTROLL
It looked like he was quite practiced at it. He has as much makeup as a draft queen, his hair is also kind of draggy, so maybe he will come out on election day.
And yet the race looks even and Trump may win tomorrow. We’ll deserve the impact.
For Trump’s most devoted followers, nothing he does or could do would dissuade them from voting for him, despite his openly authoritarian behavior. While they cloak themselves in the American flag, Trump and his supporters exhibit deeply anti-American sentiments. They don’t support him for his policies (there are none) but because he promises to “blow up” the system—essentially, the America they claim to love. Trump serves as the grenade they want to throw into the establishment. This is why his character flaws and gross incompetence are irrelevant to them; he fulfills their primary objective: dismantling the current American system.
