New Rep. Jeff Hurd banner dropped on Horizon Ct., in honor of Jeff Hurd Lobby Day, today, 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

A new banner, above, was spotted on Horizon Ct. today in honor of Jeff Hurd Lobby Day today, sponsored by the ACLU and Indivisible G.J.

The banner refers to Jeff Hurd’s vote on Tuesday, July 15, to torpedo Democrats’ effort to force the House to vote on releasing files relating to alleged serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The vote was on a procedural maneuver known as a “motion to table” or a “motion for the previous question.” Democrats tried to use the procedural vote to force a vote on an amendment introduced by Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) which would have required the release of Epstein-related materials. House Republicans voted against the motion to block it from happening. The vote was 211-210, along party lines, indicating Jeff Hurd had the ability to turn the result the other way if he had only had the moral fortitude to do the right thing and not vote to protect information about an alleged pedophile who had a 10 year-plus friendship with convicted felon, sexual abuser and now President Trump.
