Tina to the Department of Justice: “Get off your asses and get me out!”

Tina’s most recent prison mugshot (April, 2025). She is currently in the La Vista Correctional Facility in Pueblo, CO

On October 1, 2025, former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters posted a long screed to her “X”/Twitter account commemorating the “364 days of injustice” that have elapsed since she was sentenced to prison on multiple felonies related to tampering with election equipment. Tina is still claiming she has done nothing wrong and is being politically persecuted. She writes that the state “never

had jurisdiction to indict, prosecute or imprison me.” She says the judges who have denied her bond while she awaits a hearing on her appeal of her sentence are “not normal” and “were put in place illegally.” She says the state of Colorado could be “criminally prosecuted for this.”

She also writes,

“The President has demanded by release four times — twice on Twitter, twice verbally. Why is the DOJ defying Trump’s demands? Get off your asses and get me out!

Prison inmates in Colorado are not permitted to have personal access to the internet or social media platforms.

Access to the internet is tightly restricted and closely monitored in prison, and is fee-based. An inquiry to the Colorado Department of Corrections about how Tina managed to get this post on “X” got a response from Alondra Gonzalez, Director of Communications for the Department of Corrections, who wrote,

“I can confirm that inmates in the custody of the Colorado Department of Corrections do not have direct access to the internet or any social media platforms. This is a strict policy for the safety and security of our facilities.

The common method for such posts is for an inmate to communicate a message to a third party through an approved channel, such as a phone call or letter, and that individual then posts it on the inmate’s behalf.

Thank you for bringing this specific post to our attention. We will have our staff review the circumstances of the communication to ensure all departmental policies were followed.”

There’s no word yet on the findings of the Department of Corrections’ review of Tina’s post.

The ignorant and deplorable beotch will never confess for her crimes and can rot and take her last breath in jail.

  2. …and so it goes
Identifying with the ‘tribal right’ confers entitlements which include protection from and retribution for chastisement and punishment from individual states and law enforcement in all forms. There are reasons that the nazi party thoroughly analyzed amerika’s treatment of Native Americans, Slaves and it’s potpourri of Immigrants. Within those reasons is the theory that ‘pinkish humans’ are superior to ‘brownish humans’. Tina definitely has that ‘pinkish’ hue without her war paint. Quite similar to the gangster pedophile clamoring for her release because she was wronged through a system of ‘state’s rights’ while insisting that regarding abortion, education and further militarization of the police those rights are sacrosanct.

  3. Wow, have I reached the “What’s the world coming to” stage of life?? That we have (or had) elected officials who talk like that?? What happened to civility? What happened to laws? What’s happening to democracy? Somebody, HELP!

    1. She’s following the Donald Trump Lawfare Playbook, step by step. Lie, deny, prevaricate, cry Witch Hunt, then try to bully the courts and deny that the legal system has jurisdiction, then scream how unfair it is. As a disciple of Don the Corrupt, she has learned the Gospel well, don’t expect anything else but character assassination, slurs and lies coming from her. She’s under the delusion that Trump has any kind of power over a state court ruling, she’s going to stay in prison for her entire sentence, barring a federal invasion of the state and a forcible prison break by this tyrant in the White House.
As far as getting early release, her defiance and insisting that she did nothing wrong plays against her, she’s looking at doing the whole dime.

  4. A couple of observations:
    1. She still doesn’t understand or accept that what she did was wrong. Or that SHE was (and still is) wrong about the integrity of Colorado’s election system.
    2. I doubt that even the politically connected want to be associated with TP’s mindless ranting. Even Boebert distanced herself from TP pretty quickly.
