Federal agents shot another person to death this morning in Trump’s ongoing siege of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Above is video of what took place, taken by someone across the street who was watching the scene. The 39-second video shows 4-5 federal agents wrestling a man to the ground on the sidewalk. Once the man is on the ground, hunched over forward on his knees, a federal agent appears to hit the man in the head with a cylindrical object with a handle on it, then shots are heard and the man is suddenly is sprawled supine on the pavement.
A second video is posted below the first, taken by someone who was on the same side of the street as the man who was killed.
The Guardian reports that:
After the shooting, an angry crowd gathered and screamed profanities at federal officers, calling them “cowards” and telling them to go home.
One officer responded mockingly as he walked away, telling them: “Boo hoo.” Agents elsewhere shoved a yelling protester into a car, the Associated Press reports.
PBS confirmed the “Boo hoo” comment made by the officer to angry bystanders after the killing.
The fatal shooting follows another fatal shooting by federal agents in Minneapolis on January 7 of 37 year old mother of three Renee Good.
