Convicted felon/sexual abuser/President Donald Trump’s Easter message

Yes, Trump posted this message to the world on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026

Donald Trump posted the above message, which included profanity, on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Bombing power plants and bridges — civilian infrastructure — is a war crime under Articles 51 and 54 of the Geneva Conventions.

The Geneva Conventions are series of international treaties ratified by all nations and enacted in 1949, after World War II, that lay out the core tenets of international humanitarian law. The Geneva Conventions were adopted to protect non-combatants and people who cannot take part in fighting a war — including people like civilians, medical personnel, aid workers and people who are so sick or wounded that they can no longer fight. The idea is to limit barbarianism, extreme cruelty or brutality, in war.

Trump, who represents the United States on the world stage, prefers to engage in barbarianism on behalf of all Americans. A highly offensive post like this is not normal and is extremely inappropriate coming from a U.S. President.

Trump’s unhinged, profane, violent Easter post prompted legislators to renew calls for Trump’s cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, which can be used to remove a president when he or she is incapacitated and unable to carry out normal duties.

  1. Grand Valley citizen

This is *possibly* a new low even when considering his many other disgusting social media posts. Don’t we expect our presidents to act even somewhat “presidential”? The fact that he is “speaking for America” is a complete embarrassment – I can’t even imagine what our former(?) allies in NATO, etc. might think about this kind of delusional hate speech.

    25th Amendment anyone?

  2. Our president goes to unprecedented lengths to try to deflect our attention from his felonious (alleged) rape of female minors documented in the Trump-Epstein files. I understand that he does not wish to spend the rest of his life in prison. But what about the other accessories-after-the-fact ( the GOP)? What motivates them as they block efforts to bring the (alleged) criminal to justice?

I’m just distressed and rambling because the Tangerine Taco is three hours away from his threatened action to erase the Iranian civilization. We all know he will stop at nothing. So it is all-important that we all start SOMETHING that helps us, and the world, to protect ourselves from the actions of the disordered despot. Call it protective custody, but call it, for the sake of sanity.
