USPS to increase package shipping rates temporarily due to increased transportation costs

The United States Postal Service will increase shipping rates temporarily due to the steep increase in the cost of fuel resulting from Donald Trump’s war on Iran. A price increase of 8% will go in effect for anything shipped domestically starting on April 26th, 2026, and will continue until January 17th, 2027. The change affects prices on Priority Mail Express®, Priority Mail®, USPS Ground Advantage®, and Parcel Select®. The price of First Class stamps will not be affected.

Earlier this year, the Post Office increased the price of Priority Mail by 6.6%.

  1. I wish personally to unthank President Epstein-Trump for causing my USPS rates to increase, likewise gas, food, utility prices, as a result of Operation Epstein Fury, the President’s largest, to date, attempt to get the Trump-Epstein Files off page one. Good try, Donnie.
