Citizens to hold community meeting on 29 Road improvements & continued plans for an I-70 interchange

Flier for meeting organized by community members on 10/20/26 to discuss the City’s continuing plans for the proposed 29 Road interchange project

John Traylor, a Grand Junction resident whose background is in public finance and who has led the campaign against the 29 Road Interchange, and Tom Parrish, a prominent public education advocate and community leader, will be hosting a community meeting about the City’s plans to move forward with proposed improvements to 29 Road and essentially the I-70 interchange. The sentiment of many people living in the affected neighborhood is that while improvements to 29 Road are “definitely needed,” they definitely still oppose construction of the I-70 interchange.
