My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell is claiming he was vindicated (pdf) in the recent civil lawsuit in Denver in which a jury found him personally liable for defaming former Dominion Voting Systems executive Eric Coomer. The jury ordered Lindell to pay Coomer $2.3 million in damages. Extremist former western slope resident Sherronna Bishop, a co-conspirator in Tina Peters’ felonies and minion of Lindell, is now repeating Lindell’s false claim of vindication on social media in an attempt to keep right wingers believing in his long-debunked claims of election fraud.

In reality, jurors found Lindell’s companies, My Pillow and his media company FrankSpeech, were not liable for the defamation, but ruled Lindell himself was personally liable for the defamation. The burden of proof in a defamation lawsuit is extremely high but Coomer and his attorneys met that burden with enough evidence to persuade a jury to rule that Lindell did, in fact, defame Coomer, causing Coomer grievous personal and financial harm.
Sherronna Bishop now works for Lindell as Executive Director of his “Legal Offense Fund,” which has been helping Tina Peters fund her legal defense and effort to get out of prison on bond while waiting for the courts to rule on an appeal of her conviction and sentencing.
So now Sherronna’s job also depends on keeping large numbers of people believing Trump’s, Peters’ and Lindell’s election fraud lies. For years now, both Peters and Lindell have been relying on election denialism and their legal battles related to those topics to rake in funds from gullible right wing donors who continue to believe the long-disproven 2020 election fraud conspiracy theories.
Despite being the mastermind and facilitator of the crimes that got Tina Peters sent to prison for nine years, Sherronna Bishop has never been held accountable for her actions, or the great expense they caused Mesa County taxpayers.
After her home was searched by the FBI in 2021, Sherronna and her family fled to Carthage, Texas, in May of 2022, and despite the fact that Sherronna publicly claims to be deeply concerned about election fraud, in 2023 she re-registered to vote as a Mesa County resident even though she resides in Texas and is no longer a Colorado resident, potentially committing a form a voter fraud.
Colorado Revised Statutes lay out the laws of residency for a person intending to vote in Colorado and indicate that Sherronna registering to vote as a Colorado resident even though she lives in Texas is likely illegal:
You failed to mention that Coomer sued for 63 million.
Lindell will appeal and he’ll pay his lawyers with pillows.
It would be interesting to know why Mesa County and Colorado didn’t go after Bishop.
