Above was the scene in Los Angeles, California on Monday as heavily armed and masked military troops in armored vehicles descended on the famous McArthur Park in downtown Los Angeles. The action was widely viewed as ICE theater designed to frighten and intimidate people in a part of L.A. that is heavily populated by immigrants. McArthur Park, at Wilshire and Alvarado, is across the street from the famous Langer’s Deli.
Also in southern California, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents kidnapped a female artist from Long Beach who is a U.S. citizen, and sent her to El Salvador. Agents reportedly seized her because she was not carrying a drivers license. The woman is an American citizen. She has epilepsy, no money and no papers. Several people in Long Beach, including my cousin who lives there, report they are now having to carry their birth certificates and passports whenever they are out, as people had to do in 1936 Germany, when Nazis were rounding up and kidnapping Jews and gypsies without warning and sending them to concentration camps.
Some continue (erroneously) to claim that this Project 2025 Hitler redux is the fault of Democrat elites. Not.
